Drawing Paper Pads
Versatile sheets of cream colored drawing paper for sketching and most finished work. The Medium surface readily accepts pen and ink, pencil, charcoal, crayon and markers. The smooth surface, with its non-reflective finish and uniform formation, is especially suited for line drawing and technical work. Twenty-four 80 lb., acid-free sheets per spiral-bound pad. Available in multiple sizes.
Sketch Paper Pads
This is a general purpose, 60 lb. sketch paper for classroom, experimentation or perfecting technique with pen, pencil and a variety of other media. Each spiral-bound pad is acid-free. Available in multiple sizes.
Mixed Media Paper Pads
These pads feature papers that combine true wet media performance and a dry media finish that is suitable for a range of mixed media applications. Each pad includes 15 heavy-weight 140 lb. sheets intended for finished paintings, drawings or studies. The paper is acid-free and specially sized for wet media performance with a vellum finish that is excellent for drawing. Ideal for watercolor, gouache, acrylic, graphite, pen and ink, colored pencil, marker, pastel and collage The pads have easy-to-use flip over covers that keep pages in the pad, yet allow them to tear out cleanly. Available in multiple sizes.
Oil Painting Paper Pads
Strathmore Oil Painting paper provides artists with a convenient alternative to canvases or boards for oil paints or oil pastels. No gesso is required to prevent oil saturation, just simply tear out a sheet and start painting. The linen surface mimics canvas while providing texture to help blend and hold layers of paint in place. Intended for the creation of final art pieces. Ten 215lb. sheets per glue-bound pad.
Watercolor Paper Pads
This blended wood pulp paper has a professional grade random surface. Recommended for intermediate and advanced watercolorists for mastering their technique. Acid-free, 140 lb., rough. Blocks contain fifteen sheets and pads contain twelve sheets.
Mixed Media Black Paper Pads
These pads feature black papers that combine true wet media performance and a dry media finish that is suitable for a range of mixed media applications. Each pad includes 15 heavy-weight 184 lb. (300gsm) sheets intended for finished paintings, drawings or studies. The paper is acid-free and specially sized for wet media performance with a vellum finish that is excellent for drawing. Ideal for graphite, colored pencils, markers, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pen & ink, charcoal, gel pens and more. The pads have easy-to-use flip-over covers that keep pages in the pad, yet allow them to tear out cleanly.
Toned Sketch Paper Pads
This sketch paper has been toned specifically for use with light and dark media. The pads contain 80 lb. (118 gsm) medium-surface sketch paper appropriate for graphite, chalk, charcoal, sketching stick, marker, china marker, colored pencil, pen and white gel pen. The paper is 100% recycled and acid-free with kraft and bark fiber inclusions for visual interest. Each pad contains 24 sheets with the exception of the 5.5″ x 8.5″ and the 9″ x 12″ which contain 50 sheets per pad. Available in multiple sizes.
